Sweet Matt, You got the airbox sorted out as yet?

I got some stacks stuck in there, thats all I need.

I just drove it, goes awesome. Sounds fkn wierd with no exhaust note but its not as choked up feeling as I had thought it would be. Brakes need a bleed.

On the weekend I will drain the water and replace it with a proper coolant/demin water brew with the new radiator. that is once I have inspected the sensors for any further leaks.

I just tossed the old Idle controller in how it was before to keep it the same as before and it idles pretty good.

I don't like the way the throttle linkages feel on the silvertop type throttles, so I might just go ahead and adapt the blacktop linkage on there.

The new clutch feels awesome.

I'm stupid, I thought you wanted the stacks to put in an airbox.

So no filters or are you going to put the old ones on.

Cruise time soon

Thanks, Philly.

I hope to see yours pulling up out front in a few weeks.

Heres some shots of Terrys handiwork.

Firstly, the new colour for the centres of the southernways (perfect terry, thats exactly what i wanted).

And the freshly polished radiator shroud. Again Terry it looks awesome, Ill give you a few bucks when I see you next. You really must call before coming over if you want to catch me, I can get quite busy sometimes.

I have now fitted the new radiator, and its awesome. It sat in max1/3 of the temp gauge even in traffic and the thermofan drops it quick.

Wheels look hot!

Yeah the silver is awesome. Cheers.

Hopefully getting an exhaust on Saturday, then maybe dyno tune next week sometime.

I was inspired by my MK3s. Silver centres look good on those and its still original paint. Might have to do them the same after the southernways, although I'm not sure if the centre will come out of them...

Booked in at 8am, Moss St Slacks Creek. Right Price Exhausts.

Going for a metal cat, 2 inch pipe over diff, single resonator, and just a regular muffler. Should sound a touch quieter than before. Its super stealthy now. A bit too quiet with a stock ae71 rear section.

Then its off to Robbie Novak for another tune.
