Yea, true.

But it was good to see it all together and how much work is actually left.

Still got to finish off the front guards, window and tailgate.

Inside of the front passenger door still needs to be primed. then the lot is all ready for final prime and a rub back with 600.

Got some stuff to discus when your available.....Mr Daddy.

I love it when you two talk dirty ;)

It worries me, when you consider it's two guys and ones called "Daddy"

These two above are what as known a "Sick F**Ks"

Looking good mate  can't wait to see this finished

Cheers man. Me either.

Found the name of the paint i'll be after is HSV Racing green. Hopefully its a bit cheaper than the Poison Ivy Metallic I originally wanted.

just having HSV in the name triples the price ;)

I'm gonna be painting Ollie "Poison Ivy" Green as well, but it's the task of finding a Paint Shop that would mix the colour. I'm also gonna have to visit Holden with Dad and find a Commodore in "Poison Ivy" Green and take a look at the Paint Code stamped on the ID Tag.

It's comin' along nicely Ryan.

Cheers Josh,

I have found a paint shop that can do it. But its almost $500/4L. Only comes in Basecoat as it contains Zirconium Pearls or something.

If there isnt much difference in pricing, i'll go with the Poison Ivy. Just Love the colour.

Alrighty. Went and had a talk to the friendly guys down at Lonsdale Auto Paints today.

For 4L of HSV Racing Green it is around $264.

For 4L of Poison Ivy Metallic is $406.

The difference in price is due to the poison ivy has the Zirconium Pearl tinter, that alone is about $100/L snd there is almost 1L of the zirconium on 4L of mixed paint.

Be warned, the fancier the colour the better the preperation has to be, with the colours you've picked it has to be perfect

Yep. That's true. I agree.

Yep yep.

Once all the panel work is straight and ready for paint, the whole lot will be final primed (2 pak primer + 35% thinners) then gone over with 600 on most of the body and possibly 1200 over the top half.

Any more suggestions?
