SLO-030 Posted May 24, 2010 Author Report Posted May 24, 2010 I think Uncle Curly is gonna open a can of whoop-ass on you Ryan ;) Â Uh-Oh, spaghettio.... Â Not as bad as first though. will be finishing the body and paint work and then swapping everything over from a donor KE3x. Â Will be getting used for daily duties. due to the rust free-ness. Other than that it will be just a clean KE38. Â Will be building my tonner up instead. Quote
Evan G Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 i think curly has the only ke38 that are made for men ;) Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Will be building my tonner up instead. Â nothing like a car made of actual steel instead of coke tins. Quote
SLO-030 Posted May 24, 2010 Author Report Posted May 24, 2010 nothing like a car made of actual steel instead of coke tins. Â Â Pretty much summed it up right there Matt. Â As much fun as i've had in corolla's over the years. The appeal of a full chassis vehicle is pulling me in. Also the fact all the interior is done is a big help. Quote
SLO-030 Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 Bumpin it back up! Â Hopefully drop dave from AJPS a line tomorrow and line up some billet tierod adjuster tubes. Go and see a wrecker and grab a steering box nut and get this baby steering again! That'll be virtually the front end done. Just need to flip the swaybar as i got it backwards when i first put it in :) Â Fix up the rear so it rolls properly. Â Just need to finish the sanding around the pesky rear windows. Bit hard lately with a lack of motivation, but it'll happen. Quote
SLO-030 Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 And there is movement on the extractor front. Sorting out payment details, hopefully hear something tomorrow! Quote

SLO-030 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 Steering = in and workin    No AJPS tie rod tubes in there yet, soon though! Quote
fusion Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Tie rod tubes work well. Had alot of ajustment left even with 2.5 degrees of camber :) Quote
SLO-030 Posted June 19, 2010 Author Report Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) Ok, got the last door 90% done for final prime. Put some doors and panels to give myself a definate idea of how close it is to getting some colour ;) Â Enjoy, Â Â Â Â Â Â Â EDIT: Sorry about the mung angle on the last pics, photobucket wont show the rotated version.
