oh what a nissan feeling! Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 ^^^ for this idea, i agree hide it, they make no noise so under the dash? Clark rubber supplies door rubbers for ke30, they were $50 each when i got them, very good quality, mine would be 5 years old and still sweet. For windscreen rubbers i used windscreen a obrien one for my front $100 but they only do front, so i had to use a clark rubber one for the rear, i think it was $130, but they are all still overrated condition after 5+ years. SLO-030 Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 Thanks for the input guys. Si, I'm going to be running a square coil mounted half way up the RHS strut tower. Leaving the original coil mount spare. Scott and Matt, one thing is i wanna have it mounted in the bay. Mainly because I'm quite fond of the red box  I'm only sticking with a K engine, so i gotta have as many things to make it look special as i can. Quote
SLO-030 Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 Oh, and Sounds awesome about the seals. Didnt even think about going local with the seals. only marginally more exxy than ebay ones, but at least i can see before I buy  Thanks guys Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Scott and Matt, one thing is i wanna have it mounted in the bay. Mainly because I'm quite fond of the red box tongue.gif I'm only sticking with a K engine, so i gotta have as many things to make it look special as i can. Fair enough, should look great, i had mine mounted front row centre in the engine bay for ages, funny thing is it was a procomp one - nasty rubbish, you live you learn... Quote
SLO-030 Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 oh no, procomp. I got my old man to get a holley style fuel pressure reg from ebay for me. was a procomp one. I learnt about their shit before i used it so its still in the shed somewhere. Quote

Budowski Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 Hey those wheels look great, looks like they fit neat and tidy in those arches. How much more work is needed before this gets on the road ? can't wait to see it. Quote
greenmac80 Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 LOTS!!! depends i reckon 2 weeks of full time bodywork and it'd be ready for paint... thats the biggest hurdle atm. Quote
SLO-030 Posted April 10, 2010 Author Report Posted April 10, 2010 Yea, motorvation for bodywork is not alot at the moment. Have 90% sorted out a booth the spray the wagon in :( Once the bodywork and paint is sorted. I'll finish the front suspension and sort out the rear along with the diff. In between time i will be building a 5K for another memeber so i can tell what my 5K will be like ahead of time. Also having my engine bay wired by the recipient of the 5K, stoked :) Quote
Tally Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 I hope your doing the body work urself ryan, ive been doing mine, my dads been taking me through it and it isnt as hard as people say once you get the hang of the basics :) You know how it works, you push urself to do some work on it and then you get pumped with motivation and get ideas of how its gonna look while you work :( Quote
