Ae71 Tacho/speedo Dramas

Hey Guys, in relation to "slab" in rollaclub rides (AE71 with 2TGTE); How do I get the tacho to work? (+ or - wire from coil I am guessing, but soldered to which pin in the guages multi connector?). Also, speedo works, but trip meter and odo don't, sounds like a stuffed speedo cluster?

Tacho signal comes off the negative side of the coil.

And yes, Trip meter and Odometer gears may be cactus inside, just swap the speedo unit out of an ke70 / ae71 cluster to fix it..

Just wondering, Ive got the tacho wire connected and no tacho action, anything off the top of your head I should try?

I think there is a fix with diodes with multi-coil setups that you can do..
