RA28GT Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Hey do any of you guys know a good place to take some photos at night time around Adelaide somewhere? I'm northern suburbs but willing to drive! Quote
Evan G Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 torrens island, pelican point? beaches near port adelaide Quote
Tume Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 I always liked the ones that you randomly took on the side of the road. If you were to do one of them again it would be pretty good. You always seem to have a very high amount of taste in taking photographs, so all I would say is to keep a camera in the car and pull over when your inspired. Quote
Murd 55 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 i like at the birkenhead hotel with the port river bridge in the background neons and traffic flowing looks rad! like this sorta thing carparks can also be good. Quote
JiP Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Carparks aren't always good  Quote
RA28GT Posted September 19, 2009 Author Report Posted September 19, 2009 Wasn't happy with how any turned out  ohh well! Ill have to do some more, i think ill stick to day time! Quote
SLO-030 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 2nd and 3rd ones look great in my opinion. Id be happy with them. but thats just my opinion. Quote
200Boy Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 I agree with just driving round with a camera and looking for inspiration. Here's a few some mates and I took recently. and probably my favourite Quote
Murd 55 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 i think your photos look great troy, contrast is a little iffy in a couple but apart from that pretty good think the biggest issue with night photos is that you would be better off a light source for the subjecct, the photo of the ford i put up think they guy used a couple lights to light the car up more. street lights can sometimes assist and sometimes ruin a photo, but then again with an SLR you should be able to get great shots with out the perfect lighting circumstances. 13BT_KE20 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 was nice to meet mate, car looks sweet in real life. Has such a fat stance. Pity the merc was so dirty and i was so tired otherwise i would of got you to take some snaps of it Quote
SoulSearcher Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) what about the carpark at west lakes um...if you were going to the movies there (it's sort of like a westfield I think?) The top level has shade sails and the bottom level has criss cross beams oh, pics look great! Edited September 20, 2009 by SoulSearcher Quote
philbey Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Windy Point - Belair Road (not Old Belair Road) Quote
Jason KE30 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Maybe that lookout spot on south road? When your going up O'Hallaron Hill. About halfway up you go into this gravel carpark that looks over alot of Adelaide. The lack of light might be a problem though. Quote
