Gday guys,

i own ke30 with a sr20. It has come to the point where i need to mount the front mount intercooler and i would like to see how other guys on this forum have done it. Pictures would be much appreciated. When i say mounted i don't actually mean mounting it but rather ie did u cut the front apron or the grill and what holes did you cut out for the piping.

Many thanks in advance

Id say either move the horns and use the recess where the sit to cut out for the piping. or enlarge the holes either side of the radiator where the bumper mounts go thru if you wanna keep the pipes low in the bay.

Just a couple of ideas

Because mine has both the inlet and outlet on the passengers side I've just used both of the spots ryan is talking about above. Goes out through the hole at the end of the chassis rail and back in through where the horn was. Bare in mind mine is only 2" piping though. 2.5-3" will need some rad support panel grinder love. :lolcry:

Do you want grill modifying or no grill modifying?

No grill (well very minimal)- You need to cut the front of the car up. Even it up (cause the rad is off centre), while your at it cut the holes for the piping.

If you don't want to cut the front of the car up you can cut the apron and cut holes in the wheel arches for the pipes. Its pretty ghetto but works.
