Rolliac Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 What about chassis? Original floor or full tube? What’s the goal? 7 seconds? Quote
tipsi Posted September 15, 2009 Author Report Posted September 15, 2009 Here are some more pics; started to mark out firewall and recess also trimmed the dash bracing away, removed pedals and column etc.. from the car which now leaves me with a clomplete bare shell. I will begin cutting the floor out and sizing up the rear end this weekend. :lolcry: Slowly but surely. Quote

beerhead Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 20B's haven't been done much hey, definitely be a little rocket when you're done. 5 stars for originality. Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 20B's haven't been done much hey, definitely be a little rocket when you're done. 5 stars for originality. i think you'll find that is due to the cost of the motors, even import blocks (in basically unknown condition) sell for $5g. I well known workshop built 20B sold for over $10g recently and that didnt even include inlet manifolds Quote

tipsi Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Posted September 25, 2009 Small progress at the moment. Have decided on a 33'' ladder bar setup with the 9'' for now. New crossmembers and chassis bracing. :jamie: Will 4 link it and full tubs if i get serious later on. I have been tackling small odds and sodds lately, filling in time to more parts arrive. :( Rear wing templated, will be making it from 225 Carbon. The motor is currently being built, will dry fit with Liberty gearbox and engine plate, when it returns and the gear box arrives. This weekend will be spent filling in petrol cap, patching the gaurds and removing wiper holes, and removal of sound deadner. Quote
