Johno Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 I like Rollaclub because everyone on here is so helpful, great social events, met some good mates here and i'm learning heaps about corolla's. Quote
71 Wagon Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 If I want to buy something for my rolla, I come here not only to buy, but to find out where to buy. If I want to know something about my rolla, I will find out what I want to know, or where to find what I want to know. If I want to see what rolla's others are driving, I come here. Rollaclub is my first port of call whenever I want to know anything rolla, and that's a lot! The question I would like to ask is; Why do you love your Rolla? For me it is easier to state what I don't like about my Rolla. 71 Wagon. I just have to learn how to get my photo's the right size! Quote
PHATKE20S Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 My pimp tells me that i have to The moths in my wallet told me to drive a Corolla years ago & I have made an informed choice to drive nothing else The appealing points, about the cars themselves, are what kept me buying rolla's (shape, chrome, 'K' engine strength & reliability) Quote
seabiscuit Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Simplest, easiest, user friendliest, bestest forum! Oh.. and because I own a Corolla. :jamie: Quote
towe001 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 The very first car i was chasing was either a Dato 1600, 180B or a 120Y. And out of the choices the 120Y was the only one i could find and out of that model i had the choice of either a rusted out body but with good motor or a good body but with a crap motor, and i couldn't afford both cars. Mate showed me a ke30 in the paper - Just needed TLC. I blanched at the idea but we had a look and wound up laying a deposit on it that day. All it needed was a tidy up. Found the "Oldcorollas" yahoo user group - joined up. A few on there was posting about the ToyMods forum - joined that. Found out about Rollaclub and haven't looked back. I'm with a few other forums mostly due to having to join up otherwise navigation of said forums comes down to impossible. A few others (Mitsubishi Lancer) i find that just popping in for a look see from time to time relieves the boredom of being there. Like last time i had a look in the technical section of one the last posting from someone was about 2 weeks ago.... Whereas Rollaclub is always moving always evolving some members leave us others join up. Weekends tend to go slow but it never stops. And if it did, like the time it crashed many of us would get withdrawal symptoms. Its like a drug i tell you, i think i spend more time on the forum then what i do on my car. I think i've learnt more about my car looking at the computer screen then what i would have if i spent the same amount of time getting my hands dirty. Quote
