RA28GT Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 MDF will make for a MUCH better cleaner sound as long as its mounted well. Quote
JiP Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Before you rip yours out come see me. I have a overrated one in the garage that you may borrow to make the template. Quote
towe001 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 When you do it don't expect it to slide straight in you'll have to re-shape the board around the window, seat belt mounts (possibly use longer bolts) and the top of the seat So after you've cut the board, don't go and cover the thing, trial fit it firstly :P RA28GT said: MDF will make for a MUCH better cleaner sound as long as its mounted well. You'll find two holes, on the inside sides of the speaker grills its where the plastic plug things are - they'll make ok bolt holes to hold the shelf down as well as the anchor points for the seat belts Quote
