BlindKidSeeks Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Hey guys... just looking for feedback from any KE/AE owners with MA61's which is the preferred tyre size. cheers. Andy Quote
tas_ae71 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 185/60 don't even bother trying to get "strech" on them, you need stupid wakk tyres and it looks shit. oh and if the tyre joint says 185 is too narrow for a 7" then go else where. potenza RE001 is prob about the grippiest street tyre you will get in 185/60. yokahama C-drive is cheaper and still does quite well, prob better in the wet. LukeAE71 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 I would have thought you would run a Bridgestone Adrenaline in 185/60/14 the only size they come in. Wicked tyre for both wet and dry and affordable too. I currently run them in 15" on mine and they stick like sh!t to a blanket :P Quote
BlindKidSeeks Posted September 4, 2009 Author Report Posted September 4, 2009 thanks guys... much appreciated! Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) I had 195/65 I think on the KE55, was perfect size although hard to get replacements. Edited September 4, 2009 by Hiro Protagonist Quote
KE55PIG Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 175 185 seems to be the tyres for all rollas gd alround tyre Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 175 185 seems to be the tyres for all rollas gd alround tyre 175 is way too narrow for a 7" wheel. 185 at a minimum, 195 depending on the sidewall height is what I'd recommend Quote
KE55PIG Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 yea i mean on any width rim like as in i run 165/175/65 on me 13x5.5 run 185/60 on me 14x6 and 185/195 on me 15x6.5" Quote

On a Supra they run something like 225/60, which is way too wide for a KE, so thus why finding particular smaller sizes is important Quote
