Having seen some AE10x interiors painted silver/white like that, they stand out like dogs balls and aren't much better looking, and doesn't give it a "sporty" look at all. To me, you'd be better doing the dash black to give you more of a sporty look, and somehow change the door-trim patterns (most of the AE10x patterns are ugly-as, even in the "sporty" RVs - I hate the purple/blue/green circle patterns that I have in the Conquest).

There is one way, and one way ONLY to change the colour of interior plastics without making it look like some redneck has pulled a few bits off and supercheapexportspraypainted them... And that is 3D texturecoating. It costs money, but the result is better than factory finish.

Anything else looks like shite and you'll ruin your car.

Agree, and you gave me an idea. Do the door trim in a silver instead of what i did in the photoshop. I'm gonna go photoshop to see what it would look like.

i bought aerosol paint, all though it won't turn out as good as 3D texturecoating it's good enough for me.

found this on the internet

how to paint interior

I also got the gear knob out of a corolla sportivo to match the silver, and a sports steering wheel in the mail to match it aswell.

Personally I think just leave it. Painting plastics can go disasterously wrong and leave you with a car that has a poor resale value. The photos in the tutorial thread you posted are too poor too show up the inperfections that will invariably be there. And what about in 5 years time when the paint decides to flake off?

Sorry, for some reason i thought i was reading Blindkd seeks thread. I think i was drunk. Lol, sorry for the confusion

But just like i said, it would look good in the silver and white dials too. :worship:
