i had some stock eb springs laying around in the shed, so i ripped the ke30 spring out and compaired it to the eb?

 

both the same?

i can squash the ke more than the eb?

Please don't go putting falcon springs in. Do it the right way and get some proper lowered springs. Or if you want stiffer i have hooked up a few people on here with 6kg springs for ke20/30's.

i don't want to lower it i just need a bit siffer springs

 

how much would stiffer springs set me back?

whats so bad bout using falcon springs everyone seems to do it ? i was looking at getting some ultra low kings from a falcoon and put them in ? anf falcoon spring end up around the 6kg mark.aslong as the springs are help captive does it realy matter

I was going to go the eb springs with some heavy weight oil in the shoks to stiffen front up

yea i think I'm gonna cut them and put them into my ke30 and buy stiffer springs for the ke55 daily

 

 

^^+1 there filled with dextron 2 so any fluid that doesnt foam up should be fine

the look like a pain to get the springs out of a ford what oil u think would be good for shockies u reckon some thick engine oil would be thicker then dextron 2 yea ?

Apart from the legality of chopped springs, there's nothing "wrong" it.

 

But, ive offered BRAND NEW springs for a very reasonable price. Your choice weather you take up the offer or use the coon springs. I've offered,so i wont say anymore.

can you easily get these springs or is it a once off? i'm keen on some for a ke20 in a couple of weeks.

sorry i don't think i made my self clear, the ke30 will get eb springs as its not gonna be used on road, i have a ke55 were i gonna buy the stiffer springs off of you,

 

 

it has to be a hydrualic oil in the shocks, ive heard someone used engine oil and they lasted 2 weeks :y:

Ok cool better get hydraulic oil then lol. i'll ask some places what hydraulic oil i can use to stiffen the front up a bit.

Also same here my car is drift and track only no rego.

Are ke30 and 55 springs the same ???
