Scott_87 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Yes i have how to much a tough k and the thread but I'm asking from peoples personal experience on there opinions. I have a ke70 with a recently put in recon 5k and 5 speed box, i have extractors and 2inch exhaust and a 32/36 weber. What would people reconmend I could do in the future? I would like to mayb improve steering, handling and braking but not looking at spending the world. Are there interchangable parts from other models or series that would improve the stock without the price tag? thanks in advance Scott Quote
Scott_87 Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 (edited) Also I'm fairly sure my thrust bearing is gone, is it worth replacing that by itself or while out getting the clutch done? What radiator would also be a good upgrade? Whe installing motor was told I'd need one in very near future. thanks again Edited August 28, 2009 by Scott_87 Quote

You can make it ok with wreckers parts, but if you really want it to handle, then you will have to spend some good money on high quality dampers and springs, and nolathane bushes etc. Suspension eats money but is very rewarding to play with as far as driving goes. Scott_87 Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 Sorry its a ke70, did have a search mate tried ke70 suspension but got nothing so tried ke70 and got endless amounts of pages as suspected. Was purely asking people opinions on what there experiences are, new to this coralla thing and wanna get to know my car and parts which can but upgraded, hence joining the rollaclub! Quote
OniBerserker Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 86 suspension parts. it aint cheap but its worth it look in peoples project threads here and on ae86drivingclub.com.au heaps of info around Quote

mungi mods Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 XT 130 struts, lower control armsand power steer arms are a worthwhile and cheap upgrade with cut commodore springs in the front gives you bigger brakes and 2.5 degrees of negative camber plus more lock for the rear cut falcon springs out of a wagon are a worthwhile upgrade with new short stroke shocks decent set of wheels and tyres are a neccessary upgrade Kamei lip for the front from Little red Spirit will improve the looks department flared guards ....makes em look tough so many mods that can be done cheaply just read through rollaclub rides for inspiration.... Scott_87 Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 thanks heaps mate was starting to loose faith, seems that the only people who write are the people who have something lodged! I'm sorry if funny enough people ask questions on a forum! Quote
irokin Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Asking intelligent questions backed up with research you've already done = good. Asking to be spoon fed = baaad. Quote
Scott_87 Posted August 29, 2009 Author Report Posted August 29, 2009 Hence people trying to do research by asking questions, or did you always have the knowledge you do know? Quote
OniBerserker Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Nope, i asked stupid questions and was rude till they suspended me. then i started reading everything that i could find. :y: You will find that most questions you will ever want to ask have already been asked and answered. There is a lot more information around about ke70 modifications nowdays than there was 4 years ago. and if all else fails you could shoot pm's at owners of keto's asking random questions. Quote
