mikey_m Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Hey Folks I picked up a Tercel Electric Dizzy (3A), it does not have an external coil (I assume it is internal) and two wires from it, one black and the other black/orange. Any have an idea on how to fit it to my 4AC? Cheers Mike Quote
mikey_m Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 Found it! Very simple really, take the cables from the coil and connect direct to the electric dizzy, so black being the negative from the coil and black/orange being the positive. Note you do not need the ballast resistor. It has come up very neat and works well, I am finding much cleaner/smoother power having converted, and its kindo nice not having a seperate coil in the bay. Quote
