Yes, it would be an upright :) - Note the manifold plate between intake, exhaust & Head :) !

what's with the earth straps on the ignition leads? and the big mofo rocker bar

Obviously trying to put any leakage of ht to earth gawd knows why and the rocker alloy bits are rocker spacers instead of the standard spacer springs yes its an upright so`s the one on the left :)

ahh spacers, of course! stop the rockers walking side to side at high rpm :)

shrug, something that won't wear quick. steel pipe might be a good idea. needs to be a very snug fit over the original rod

what was the reason for having the springs there in the 1st place? and if you don't mind me asking how does setting the engine upright make it preform better and how much work needs to be done to make it upright?

Valve Springs - Ha ! - You don't need them, its a factory option. They are heavy, so not having them gives you weight reduction.

lol yes, i meant the springs that went horizontally were replaced by the peices of tube. what were they for?
