still waiting for results to come, but we think that we got first P2(1600)QRC for sunday.

it was a weekend with hi's and low's.

in reece on thursday tony(TRD) broke an axle, a quick trip up the coast for me on thursday night had the 2 spare axles fitted and the car ready for scurtineering on friday.

saturday was all good until stage 7, 5k's in and one axle cried enough so tony easied off only to have the 2 follow suit 1k from the end of the stage right where the spectator point was. 2 broken axles=no drive.rally over for saturday.

we trailered the car out of the stage and back to service and then racked our brains on what to do.

one of our service crew members(Toa Cooper) is a welder,so a quick trip back to brisbane to repair axles and sleeve them, hoping that they would be strong enough to finish sunday.

under ARC rules you can restart the next day if the car is into parc ferme by midnight.

while the axles were being repaired tony and our other service crew member Dylan changed the gearbox and clutch(removed paddle clutch) this was to relieve drivetrain stress on the axles. all was finished by 11.30pm.

Tony nursed the car through sunday feeling more confident with every stage,as a result of just finishing sunday we managed to, by the smallest of margins take out QRC P2.

now it's time for Sprinter diff.

Teddy has what was left of one axle.

photos Teddy???

I'd like to thank ALL the people who offered there Assistance,

special thanks to Matt and Rob. :)
