killa13b Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 ive just started doign my ke30 striped him down no rust stragth as i just don't know what engine to put in it , i was thinking 13b or maybe v6 any ideas Quote
baggus Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 12a or a 13b bridgie for sure bro, had a 12a bridgie in my starlet and cause these cars are so light there so much fun!!!! Quote
seabiscuit Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 You'd have a lot better chance at getting a rotor registered and probably fitting it up, too! Up to you. There's still lots of nice 4 bangers out there. Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 depends what you intend to use the car for, i rota can be mounted much lower and further back in the engine bay and is alot lighter than a V6 so is a much better option if you want the car to steer. Pure burnout/striaghtline car a V6 will do the job perfectly, at a much cheaper cost Quote
killa13b Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 yeah i have a 13b briggy on my shed floor but i don't know, i love my rotors and i had a nice rx7 but was alwaslys broken I'm only plaining on driving this car on weekends and cruzes but yeah thanks lads Quote

Tally Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 and they sound insane aswell!!! haha!!! But have heard that they are becoming very rare nowdays, and most would need a rebuild... + hard to get parts... id say go 13B, if its built proper and is looked after you shouldn't have problems... Tally Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 well a ke30 engine bay is roughly the same size as an 808/1300 etc so no probs fitting a rotor in there... a 20B has been put in a KE20 with no firewall mods haha Quote
