John Deere Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 back in the day when i was young and on my Ps i had a pod filter on my carbied 18R carona. it consisted of 2 90degree 80mm plumming bends. one night all of my mates and i were out being hoons then we when to our local hang out. i poped the bonet to show them all the setup. as i lifted the bonet i exposed the pod hanging off (very dodgy) to everyones suprise i grabed a roll of electrical tape and taped it back on complete with elctrical tape praces that ran around the inlet manifold. they were the days that i could get away with dogy stuff like that. there aint much that can't be fixed with a roll of tape and some speaker wire Quote
Banjo Posted June 8, 2005 Author Report Posted June 8, 2005 About six months ago there was an intersting thread on Rollaclub about what tools usually were carried in the boot on a daily basis. Not much, if I remember the contributions. But there are three very basics that should be found in every Corolla rear guard side well. 1. Roll of electrical tape. 2. Tube of 5 minute Araldite. 3. Couple of thin wire coat hangers. :) Quote

Jusdrifn 86 Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 i have seen bush mechanics, sorry for not reading the whole thread, but they had some old shitter, with heaps of stereo sh*t, speakers and amps on the roof for a concert... they drove through a ditch quick and the weight on the roof crushed all the a,b and c pillars, so they chopped the roof off with an axe, and towed the roof upside down behind them, with all the speakers on the roof lining, and then another dip came and the chassis bent in half in the middle, i pretty much couldnt stop laughing... cause the where all aboriginal and couldnt speak english and they were in a hurry to get to their concert... and speaking alot, all at the same time oh what comedy Quote
