baggus Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 (edited) Ok here goes since my last update alot has changed....now being a kiwi i thought i better do what kiwis do best....slap a rotary in it!!!! ive been busy collecting parts for my conversion but since I'm only a apprentice money is tight and things are moving VERY slowly, so far ive got a rx4 13b (biggest ports from factory) block in pieces which ive cleaned up and will be sending to rotomotion to get bridge ported in the next few weeks when there done I'm going to rebuild it my self. Now ive still got a few things left to buy: * A radiator (hopefuly pick one up next week) * A Gearbox * Fuel setup (got one lined up for next week) * Rebuild kit When its ready to go ill be leaving it in the hands of White_sandshoe aka Garnett (frickin legend!), so hopefuly if things go to plan should have it ready early next year which isnt to far away realy. My plan for it is to turn it into a 'fully sick drift slut' like every other ke70 owner...NOT!!!! Nah just plan for it to be a thirsty daily driver lol Edited November 4, 2009 by baggus Quote
08ftw Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Tidy, those wheels don't really suit though. Quote
KPROLN Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 dude thats hot looks like my ke but without the wheels Quote
baggus Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 Cheers guys. As for the wheels... Meh I like them I gues every one has there own taste, few updates.... Manual box goes in this Thursday set of 4:2:1 extractors coming in the next two weeks (cheers Teddy), and some low king springs in the next two weeks. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Very tidy. Ive seen worse wheels on a ke70 before, those are tolerable, but Id prefer it with something oldschool. Otherwise, thats a great car to start off with. :P Quote
baggus Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 Yeah it's a great little car to start off with and it's something different to what I'm use to, as I use to have two kp starlets back in n.z. Quote
Jimpoole Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 In fact, the wheels were the first thing I noticed, along with that strange number plate, and I really like them. Quote

Taz_Rx Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 If you're going to re-build it yourself, why not also do the porting? You can get BP templates off ebay these days pretty cheap. You will have to get a machine shop to cut the bridge for you but you could still do the porting bit. And are you planning on using that nikki on the BP? Casue its really not suitable. Just get yourslef an IDA or even better IDA style injection. ....or give me $800 for my IDA (already jetted for big BP) and I'll go injection!!! :y: Quote
baggus Posted November 6, 2009 Author Report Posted November 6, 2009 Il would rather get it ported by some one that knows what there doing e.g rotomotion, altho I'm a apprentice mechanic I'm not confident enoug to take a die grinder to the plates as the plates are worth a bit being r5 plates, and as for the Nikki I'm going to get it re jetted for now untill I can afford to buy and run a 48 Ida webber. Taz_Rx Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Fairo, just don't expect too much out of it until you can get it breathing properly. Quote
