Most likely a gauge problem, KE dashes are renowned for showing false readings on fuel and water temp, especially the fuel gauge (although that's usually the sender actually) Quote
coln72 Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Nah, the flux capacitor is starting to charge - don't drive over 88mph and you will be right..............:P Quote
Jimpoole Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 oi yeah same deal with me but only happens when I turn my headlights on Quote
JiP Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 I found I've had similar problems. Firstly behind your speedo there is a little metal sender with 3 legs coming off it. They aren't connecting with the copper lines at the back of the speedo. The other problem I had was with wiring. My demister fuse blew and it knocked out my fuel/temp, reverse lights and demister. (I think there was more) Could be a crossed wire? Quote
