RA28GT Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 My bottom radiator hose is cracked on my ke20, i went down to my local parts shop and they said they are not made anymore for my car. Surely these can be brought from somewhere? Or is there another thats a close fit? Quote
skidsharpe Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 hey man take the old hose off and take it to your local auto 1 or somewhere like that. thats where i get all mine from Quote
kiahn Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 and if the fails then you can goto malz, they have every radiator hose i could think of, or if you need it asap get some pipe and some pipe bender (looks like a spring with a bar ot metal on the side) and make your own :) Quote
Budowski Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 ke30-55 should be a good match even a ke70 hose would fit if you trimmed it. Quote
Raven Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Come and see me at work tomorrow morning Troy. I'll PM you my work number. We'll see if we can get a close enough match and I'll do you a good price :) Quote

Felix Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Yea it is starting to get hard to find consumables for the old girls. Not sure on the ke20's, but with my ke15 I used a ke30 bottom hose. I cut and shut it using a bit of metal pipe in the middle with a couple of extra hose clamps. The upper ke30 hoses also work great with a bit of trimming. Quote
fusion Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Yeah go an see Raven. Been to his work place a couple of times and they have always come through with either the right part or a suitable replacement. :) Quote
kangaroosa Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Whilst doing an engine conversion i stumbled across these. VULCOFLEX They come in varying lengths and Internal Diameters. Generally about $15 each and can be bent into any shape that the original hose was shaped to. I got mine from an industrial hose and pipe shop (they are a GATES brand), however i know for a fact that you can order them from most auto parts shops aswell. Quote
