i started with.....

(shell V Power)

11 degrees advanced pulled 29.4

16 degrees pulled 29.1

6 degrees pulled 28.7

and finally went 11 degrees and no air filter and got 30.4 RWKW

we also noticed the air/fuel ratio got a little lean in the power range?

cheers

Evan

45kw from factory :rolls:

That would most likely be at the flywheel. :P

Did you play with the mixture to try and git it running a bit more stoich in the top end?

i had it 14.7 at idle with 11 degrees advanced, went to 6 degrees and lost power cause it was leaning in the top end?

how can i fix up the mixtures in the top end

my ke20 got 38.2 rwkw with 98 octane and no filter but still the air box. 4k + no emissions FTW!

my car also wen't lean in the top end. the stock carb is very limmiting for making any power.

you didnt test all the given timings without the airfilter?

hard to tell if the timing or the no air filter helped you with the 11* run.

who was dyno-ing it?

you should have been able to play with jets in the carby to richen the top end up a bit, but at the end of the day, theres a reason people put better carbies on there...

what is the purpose of this thread? I'm struggling to comprehend what your asking? or are you just putting it out there?
