SSR's here on tuesday and on the dyno at some stage next week. ide say its making around 160rwkw on 11 psi at the moment so hopefully we can get it up to 18-20psi and see what it does. Quote

rad32 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 hey adam, been reading about the ls1 coilpack setup, herd that the dwell on the ingnitors arent fast enough with stock ecu.. anything over 7psi and it misses? your just running stock with remap yeh? Quote
red_gem Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 ill find out soon enough but seems to be running good to me. not much has happened lately. but it is booked in to get tuned early october. lookin now at getting it tuned on a methanol/ultimate blend. Quote

Evan G Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 hoping to get it on the dyno this weekend. took it for a squirt last night and she lights the tyres hard now. its only on about 12psi so should be sick once i get the boost up there. nice ride mate just wondering if this is gonna be a weekend warrior? drift machine? with 230kw you will get no traction in the dry let alone in the wet LOL Quote
red_gem Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) cheers for the comments guys. redae71 i check yours regularly. always like to keep up to date on what the other ca boys are up to. i havnt really built it for anything in particular but its definatly no streeter anymore. i think mainly drift and if i could take it down the strip that would be awesome but there isnt much of that going on at the moment here in SA. quick update... doing the fuel setup again. i want to go around an 800cc injector and bosch 044 motorsport pump and get it tuned up on methanol/ultimate mix. starting to need to do something about the diff. might just go a t-series for now and try a 2way. if that dusnt work itll be r31 time. also would like to do an s13 coilover in the rear and maybe swap to power steer. just depends how much cash i really wanna blow on it. anyway some newer pics.... JJT036 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 This car looks mad, the way it sits. Those mags, and a Ca18 Turbo under the Bonnet, This is one Grouse Ae71 Red_Gem. Are you going to fix up the RHD Back Wheel Arch, or leave as it is?? Cheers, Josh :P Quote
