Rolliac Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Or anyone for that matter. Coolest KE10 I’ve seen but what’s more interesting is his front end setup. club4ag ke10 Quote
PHATKE20S Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 What a great 'old school' looking KE10 Also Yes those coil-overs look quite interesting indeed. Wouldn't mind a couple of sets of them....... Quote
mattress Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Very nice indeed. Not a big fan of the 'chin spoiler' but each to their own. I wish i had the skills to modify the front suspension like that. I'm just scared i'll ruin something while trying to modify it and not be able to find replacements... Quote
philbey Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 yeh that's nuts. Saw the pics ages ago, I'm glad the whole build has been posted! Quote
Felix Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Yea that one looks interesting. Would hate to drive it on the roads around here. The tyres would spend more time off the road than on it. Quote

Nice 10 there. love the jap mirrors. You would be supprised how easy and inexpensive it is to get that type of coil over setup on your existing struts. A good suspension shop can place the thread sleave on the strut & then its only a new spring and bam 'adjustable coil overs'. What brakes do you think he has on the front? later model corolla? Quote
Rolliac Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 I think there ae86 struts & brakes and steering knuckles. *i made an adapter sleeve to adapt the smaller ball joint of the ke to fit the ae86 knuckle I want that adaptor sleeve. Quote
Rolliac Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 Yea that one looks interesting. Would hate to drive it on the roads around here. The tyres would spend more time off the road than on it. Do you think it would have a heavy spring rate or something? Quote

Hey that looks like my exact chin spoiler, 20's and 10's must be pretty similar in front end shape. Quote
Felix Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Do you think it would have a heavy spring rate or something? It would have to. Look at the suspension droop, or I should say lack thereof. It'd be like a skimming stone across the top of the roads around here. I'd say it would be great on a near deadsmooth smooth racetrack though. Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Very nice... tho we have plenty of KE10's on hear that would rival that for coolest KE10! :P Quote
