That ain't biased, it's an opinion, that's all that counts.

Just about everybody that has seen the rolla have all said GET AN SR20DET INTO IT!!!!

MY Vote, the SR20dET...

Probably the most disposable engine, and so easy to get performance parts for these days...

CA18DET is more disposable

cheap, if you're doing this on a budget and want SR20 but are poor I say look into the CA18DET... it cops a lot of flak but its still bang for buck and with the money saved not buying SR20 you can do a fair bit to it....

But then again SR20DET is just better to start with.

SR20's are ghey because.

A. They are datsun

B. They sound like a tractor

C. Rocker arms get the f@$k outta here

3S is king of the 2.0 litre turbos.

A. Racist!

B. My 4K-C does at the moment and I think that's cool

C. Actually, apparently if u run valve springs properly matched to the camshaft it will eliminate most rocker failures at high RPM.

my mate is putting a 1g-alphabet in to a vl dunnydore, we found out there is two different types , one with a front sump and the other with rear sump, one is built for the top of the line luxury car, the other for the sports cars but the luxury one can not be upgraded as much some thing to do with the mods toyota made for the sump change, the bad news i can't remember which is which....

are you sure? i was under the impression that the RB30s nissan sold to holden were the weak variety, and even a turbo holden motor is only as strong as a naturally aspirated nissan motor of the same series. the nissan turbo motors are apparently the ones to have?
