Hey

 

 

I just got a new genuine clutch cable for my gfs ke30 and its the right one but it doesnt have the end bit to go onto the clutch fork?

 

do you have to change it over from the old one some how?

 

any help would be good, can't drive it now!!!!!11

 

 

 

Top one is the non gen f@$ked one and the bottom is the brand new genuine ke30 one

Ok, just had a look outside, turns out there are 2 types of those clips, one looks kinda like yours, and has no slit at all and the other has the slit you can pass the wire through......

 

Try your local wrecking yard, ask if you can have a look about.......Or order one direct from Toyota, they always seem to have spares of everything....

You could, but would you really want to trust the entire operation of your clutch to a clip you cut a chunk out of? Better off going with the factory one really.....

 

Also, cutting it would be a damn sight harder than it looks.....
