i got a set of falcon springs in ym garage i see on alot of peoples cars they have falcon springs in them

 

my question is

how do u cut them down

yeh i know angle grinder

but to get a decent height ie: not too low or high how many coils u cut off?

I'm debating whether to do the same thing and use falcon springs, however I can get a brand new set of King Spring Lows for $200.

You'll hear all the arguments about why it's safe and fine to do, but remember, cutting a spring is illegal, negates your insurance, and leaves you open for criminal prosecution if you are proved negligent in an accident.

So does modifying a car in any way shape or form, unless your nodify your insurer, full stop.

The difference is you can't put cut springs on your insurance.

funny as love the above quote how about ke30 front springs no one has lowerd ones :hmm: thinking of getting stock ones reset but never been one for doing that in previous cars always went king springs any thoughts or places in melb u know i can get my hands on some thanks guys

sorry for asking.... don't blow my head off... just wondering what is so bad about cut springs? if you have the right length shock so they can't fall out when you jack the car up??? then whats the problem?
