Super Jamie Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 no some ke55 gearboxes weren't made by mercedes. the only non-toyota gearbox in a corolla was ke55/70 automatics, which were holden trimatics. same box as behind a 202 red motor, but with a different stall converter and bellhousing. and they weigh a ton Quote
Tgoldy Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 what other motors bolt straight in with a stock standard ke70 corolla Quote

Tgoldy Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 yeah thanks but had somthing in mind just a tad bigger that a 1.3L or 1.5 Quote
Redwarf Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 yeah thanks but had somthing in mind just a tad bigger that a 1.3L or 1.5 Then you're up for some work. 1.5ish is the biggest bolt in you'll get. Everything else requires modification to mounts, clutch, gearbox.... etc. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 try a 7k, 1.8L comes out in a townace SBV from 97-02, EFI or caby. Quote
