I just picked up a decent condition stock TE31, not very familiar with this model, I have had 3 AE86's all modified to hell but came accross this thing for almost nothing ($50 Home Depot card). What should be done to this thing first?

Nice find there mate.

 

It would all depend on what you want out of it.

Engine upgrade? Brake Upgrades? Lowering? Sound system? Centtral locking/Alarm? Wheels?

I already have a set of Watanabe's from my AE86, so I think my wheels are done. How is the suspension different on this car. I haven't even got it towed to my house yet. Just gonna make it into a fun driver upgraded suspension and maybe a motor swap of some sort.

In the front you have springs while in the rear you have leafs. The correct way to lower the back would be to have the leafs reset. Tho some people flip them while others use lowering blocks.

 

As for the motor since its already a T series you could stick a fairly decent T motor in. :)

go a 2TG with twin side draughts and a nice set of extractors? good power, lotsa revs and period correct FTW!
