LukeAE71 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 what have you done to this since purchasing it ? I looked into this car when it was for sale and it already had a 20volt installed along with the wheels and muffler.. How many kw's is it putting out ? A 20 volt you say?? Electric Car?? The plot thickens on this car :worship: Well the op hasn't been back here for a while so not much to worry about I guess :y: Quote
36panvan Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Bahahaha yeah I was takin the piss, its a 1.6 alright. So they did make a 2.0L but it was a deisel? toyota 3sge 2L petrol Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 toyota 3sge 2L petrol Never released in a Corolla though. Up until the current model (which gets the 2.0L 3ZR in some markets), the only stock 2.0L Corolla engines were diesels, the 2C and 1CD-FTV Quote
redae71 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 wow i don't think the op will be posting on this site again... welcome to rollaclub!!! :jamie: :hmm: Quote

RollaAE82 Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 Everyone was referring to the fact that the photos he posted clearly showed a silvertop 4AGE, which is a 1.6L engine, not a 2.0L as stated. A lot of people who aren't in the know about Toyota engines think that the silvertop and blacktop 4AGEs are 2.0L because they have the words TWINCAM 20 on the cam-cover, but that is actually a reference to the number of valves (20-valve, 5 valves per cylinder) not the engine capacity. yea man i have worked that out now man thanks it is a 1.6 thanks man Quote
RollaAE82 Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 That's not a 2.0L engine, it's a 20-valve 4AGE, ie still 1.6L Unless you've done another conversion not shown in the pictures... hay man yea i have worked out it is a silver top 1.6 Quote
