i brought the car in 2007 for 4 grand, spent approximately 10 grand on modifying it. It had a 1.6 litre engine in it but i pulled that out and put a 2 litre in it. Spent 2500 of the 10 grand on the sound system and getting the sound proffesionally tuned. cheers Josh

That's not a 2.0L engine, it's a 20-valve 4AGE, ie still 1.6L

Unless you've done another conversion not shown in the pictures...

Um that is not a 2 litre, it is a 1.6 litre 20 valve

Nice car, but I do have to wonder why you would spend 10 grand on an AE82 Seca

Did you do any of the work yourself?? Do you have any pics of it as you have gone along, progress pics maybe? :)

Lol 2 litre. That's not what the 20 stands for buddeh!

Doesn't look like it's had a respray or got different seats, so you spent 7.5k on those "quality" Racing Fear wheels, JUN muffler, TRD sticker and engine conversion?

I'm with Luke, AE82s have to be one of the ugliest rollas ever made, especially in liftback guise.

School holidays has begun!

Well if you have the paperwork who are we to argue

Want to buy some parts? I'll help you take your rolla from sick to hektik and it'd only cost $5k. That's half of what it cost to get it to fully sick, bargain!

lol if you want I can write on a piece of paper that it is a 4 litre engine

that engine is 100% an AE101 silvertop 4AGE 20-valve 1.6-litre. The 20 on the rocker cover stands for 20-valve

Whoever did your 'paperwork' doesn't know shit and has convinced you the engine is a 2.0-litre lol

Cheers, Ben.

We're not all trying to give you heaps mate but it does pay to know something about your car when you come on here to show everyone.

At this stage it just looks like you threw a whole heap of cash at it and know nothing about what you have done to it

I certainly hope you didn't pay $7500 for a 20 valve conversion, in that car it could have been done for less than half that  If you don't mind me asking who did the engine work to the car?
