Nivas are fully sick http://tuning.msk.ru/foto/niva/niva-1.jpg

lol

13B is WIN in a corolla for quick quarters. I've had a little rant before about the ke20 + 13B equation. Its just pure power to weight bliss. KE70 i don't see why not... I mean its a bit heavier... but if thats what you want to do quarters in, whatever. Its probably a better starting point for drift (what you want) anyway given that a KE70/AE71 is a lot like an AE86 in terms of its chassis. But then again who ever heard of an AE86 drifting?

SR20DET is just good

ROTARIES ARE NOT UNRELIABLE this is a myth that started circulating due to much earlier rotaries when the engine was still in its teething phase. They are well designed good engines now. Newer 13B engines out of newer mazdas have just gotten better and better. I havn't heard anyone badmouth a rotary with any solid evidence and I would be welcome to any well reasoned enlightenment.

you will never convince a rotary fan.

need evidence: count how many dead rotors there are....

but lets not get into that agin....

whatever you choose, 10s is serious cash

= not as much stick as if you turbo it.

Monster ports are pigs to drive. Turbos, even with big hp, are much more user friendly.

I love how ridiculously straight the body is and how the engine just looks so much at home in that car!

The wheels, even some BBS Hockmesh wheels would've put the icing on the cake

Thanks for confirming the engine dude :)

What Nikki done to the centre console is what I have in mind for my car, making up my own console, aswell as the dash. One of my good mates stocks the Autometer Cobalt Digital display gauges :) Pure horn material!

Pity it no longer exists, that car :P What a shame.

1uz-fe

400hp with the rite computa

600hp with a good set of cams & bit of head work

its all alloy & its toyota!!!!!

have fixed a ford lately?

1UZ-FE idea sounds good. You could pick one up reasonably cheap, but I don't know if 600hp is quite that easy through natural aspiration. However a 1UZ-FE with programmable ECU and a big turbo or supercharged setup would rock. However whichever path is taken, there's going to have to be a serious drivetrain upgrade. You'll probably need a proper drag racing auto tranny. And the rear wheels will have to be WIDE (8+ inches).

Getting a bit off topic but... a guy i know has got a 1UZ-FE with twin roller bearing turbos on it in an series1 rx7 it peaks out a hub dyno pretty easy at over 550hp at the wheels interesting thing is its still using std pistons and isnt intercooled,he`s now in the process of building a engine from the ground up with forgies ported heads and cams twin turboed and is going into an ae86 mid mounted :)

As for 4age turbo in a ke70 check out Ginas time and the sr20det daty time i mentioned is on the same link.
