Roo Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 (edited) simple and effect plans. do u mean chrome spray or chrome dip your front end? spray, can look good with the right paint, dipping will cost u more than the paint job alone. the rear end in this thing is all types of wierd. cheers, scott electro plated or what ever its called just want to get the bonnet vents, them side trims on the frenders and the top and bottom metal bit on the bonnet done, grill will be gloss black. going to see how much it cost, if its abit to much might just get it all painted 2pac metilic silver yea thinking of putting in the diff i got and swapping the axles so i keep the 114.3 stud patten, going to have to replace the rear suspension anyway as i don't want 4x4 spec exhaust is going to be $180, new muffler new resonator 2inch from extractors back. was talking to a panel beater shop and said roughly 2k-3k for a bare metal respray, including engine bay and door jams. got to take it there to get a quote. also had another look under her and its got a 1peice tailshaft in it too :wink: underbody as been freshly painted so wont have to do that. got to sell my 70 so i can afford paint Edited July 8, 2009 by Roo Quote

Roo Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) ok made rear door cards today, fixed throttle and mount and chucked some stockos on turns out i don't have 114.3 meh i just get the rims redrilled looks like my welder shat itself so i couldn't weld up the holes for the mirrors or bonnet pin holes took a pic of her running 12s, so needs chrome hubcaps and white walls and be 80mm lower at the rear going to make the front doors card to arvo/night and a quick question can you still buy the chrome trims that go inside the windscreen and rear window seals? Roo Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Posted July 13, 2009 cheers just spent a couple of hours swapping centres over in my diff to find out that the open centre i put in has a different stud patten on the tailshaft and makes the tailsahft 15mm to short (slap head) looks like I'm going to have to pull it over and swap the cw&p to the open centre well better go pull it back out Quote
