benzo Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 (edited) Loving this already. Please tell me you will be respraying in brown? I like the specs of that 4K and the exhaust dumping at the diff is very cool, would love to hear this thing. Are they stock struts in the front? Adjustable lcas are very cool, look like just standard cut and modified? What specs are those MK3's? Will be keeping an eye on this Cheers, Ben. Edited July 7, 2009 by benzo Quote

Doogs Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Good starting point mate. I am also a wrap for that rim and tyre combo. Quote
RA28GT Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Poo brown FTW!!! This 20 is looking very unique, absolutely awesome. can't wait to she what she turns out like! Quote
Roo Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 cheers she isnt much now but I'm hoping that i can make it into one sick ride havent seen a brown ke20 before so looking for something abit unique going to make door cards this week, and get a exhaust changing all the interior to black want to kind of keep it original/granny spec with a nice set of rims Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 At a guess, you have KE30/55 brakes up front as they a bolt on upgrade AFAIK. Rear I'm not sure, maybe KE30/55 axles shortened and fitted to stock diff? Did anyone else notice it looks like it has had lowering blocks welded to the diff? Quote

For exhaust I think a plain black 2.5-inch pipe coming out the rear 150mm or so could look pretty good, don't go 'drift pipes' 13x7 +/-0 should be a good fit on a KE20 with minimal guard mods. I was looking at running the exact same spec watanabe's to mine. With a 165/55 and the height I wanted to run I would've only needed to roll the inner lips. want to kind of keep it original/granny spec with a nice set of rims Thats how I want to build a KE20. something still very granny spec, but with a loud N/A engine, good suspension, and very low on 13x7s I'm liking your plans  Cheers, Ben. nickyboy Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 (edited) respray it brown, and get a cream vinyl roof for it! theres a pic somewhere i shall find. may not work though if your going jap. EDIT: ok so its not a 20, and the cream is on the bottom... but you get the idea  Edited July 8, 2009 by nickyboy Quote
RA28GT Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 My vote is for Poo brown with black vinyl roof  Quote
Roo Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 i live in qld, vinyl roof wouldnt be the best plans are: full brown respray chromed front end chromed tail lights no mirrors polished mrk3s white walls interior is going to be full retrim in black engine will just get twin carbies and a new exhaust get some new leafs for the back and coilovers for the front Quote
