Felix Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) I'm not normally a fan of the ke20 shape, but I must say that she's got a real period 70's street tough look happening with the stance and wheel/tyre combo on it. :sob: I like the colour, suits it well. You might need to throw some stock LCA's on it for RWC. Edited July 6, 2009 by Felix Quote

Rolliac Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) Those engine specs sound good. Like the wheel and tire combo too. Kind of muscle car look. Reminds me of this car. Edited July 6, 2009 by Rolliac Quote

Teddy Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 1) throw that carby setup as FAR as you can throw it. Replace with 2x DCOE 40mm Side-Loveing Mommys 2) put 45° internal shamfer angle on all extractor ports (Not on the cyl head) ensuring the shamfer external surrouding edge is larger than that of the exhaust port on the head 3) Throw solid fan into bin, mount thermo fan 4) Throw that Valvoline filter in the bin, get an old school Toyota genuine one (re: oil pressure related stuff(s)) 5) de- paint the engine bay. +10 HP atw. You wont know the car if you do those few things. Seriously, it will make a woooorld of difference. 1) $300 Carbs, $100 linkage $100 manifold $300 tuneing' $100 misc. parts, $150 Trumpies = $$ about a Grand give or take 2) Dremel end $80 on air compressor wizz tool 3) $150 4) $25 5) $- Quote

Would you care to elaborate please? Quote
Budowski Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 wow this car brings back memories almost like my old 20, tuff beast dude. Quote
Teddy Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 This sharp edge effectively stops the reversion process, contaminating the fresh mix into the cyl. Quote

LittleRedSpirit Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Hey nice car Roo. I dunno whats going on there, but I thought conventional wisdom had the swaybar attaching to the diff and the body. I can't work out what that will do, except maybe stopping tramp? Seems odd, I'm sure from another angle we could see whats going on better... I have little to no experience tuning leaf rear ends.
