Lows Or Superlows?

Hey everyone, ive been looking for examples everwhere with not much luck, but I'm just after some photos of what springs people are running to see how much they drop the car. I'm mostly interested in Lovells and Kings because I'm doing it on the cheap.

Also just after some advice on whether to go superlows or just lows? Lovells website says that lows will drop the car 25-40 and the superlows 45-65mm, but anyway examples of what you've got would be good.

Lows are a good street level I personally think. I had a mate who accidentally got super lows and he had massive scrub issues :sob: And not just on the guards :sob: Good memories

 

I have Lovell Lows in the front of my AE71 and they seem to do the job nicely. Sits above the tyre, but its more a street lowered height than anything else. I know others would want to go one or two coils lower I would reckon.

in my experience lows don't lower the car very much or at all, due to the stock springs slaggy over time. For a noticeable difference in height i always go superlows. My experiece is with more sports orientated cars though, like RX7's rather than corollas ; )

Yeah i got superlows on my KE25 and they only dropped about about 1" - 1.5" , but in saying that i think that the KE2# series run a little high up in the front end from the factory . Good choice with Lovells too , they much better than some others

I put Low king springs in my KE20 since superlows were not available, and it lowered it about 1mm :wink:

 

Then i got the grinder out chopped those fuc*ers in half. If you have a look at my front end its not that low at all, rear on the other hand..

lows are hardly noticable...as people have been saying.... i had lows in my old vn commo.... had to get them reset lower.......then i cut a coil of to....lol

Thanks for all the replys. I'm picking up the superlows this arvo! Once i get some new shocks etc, i will be sure to post some pic's up, so this will hopefully help everyone else who is wondering which option to choose. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later!!
