Doogs Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Beams or RS2000 would be great. I agree on keeping the engine fairly light. Either way you will produce another masterpeice, love your work. Quote

StasIII Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 hey mate . stars here. i saw u in the cross and i was driving the VY black ute. just letting u kno... ke17 looks good mate. Quote
Jono Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 hey mick, i've done a bit of reading, but there is new gear coming out all the time. when my boy gets a bit older, and if he's into cars, we'll do an electric motor conversion into an old car - so i'll do more research then as the technology will have changed a lot by then (~8-9 years away lol). that white datto used to get great times even with a stock diff because the torque delivery was so smooth. The datto has had lots of $$$ and many battery/controller upgrades. I think electric motor conversions are kind of like buying a TV or computer - better, more efficient, more powerful stuff come out every year. If my electric car happens it will be purely for nostalgic cruising, not drag racing or street racing. Quote
Gavclassic Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Thumbs up for an old skool "electro" KE17! Quote
radrollaz Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Posted July 12, 2009 Electric motor conversion would be great, but I'm going to stick with a traditional 4 banger. Its cheaper  Quote
