Rolla_Baby Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Whats wrong with that question? no nothing i just thought guys new everythn bout cars thats all. Quote
seabiscuit Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 (edited) Wow. It's got lots of rust. Good luck mate! Hope you plan something cool for this one no nothing i just thought guys new everythn bout cars thats all. As far as I know the only way to determine the difference between a late KE70 and an AE71 is to look under the bonnet or maybe some subtle differences in the interior. LukeAE71 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 The lack of passenger side mirror tells me it is a KE70 straight off the bat. Nice car David but this must have as much if not more rust than the last one :lolcry: Quote
Rolla_Baby Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 i have a slanty face ke70 so i guess I'm use to seeing one everyday, didnt think it was that hard to tell them apart Quote
trav_555 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 You can tell by the different plastic air things on the rear pillars, the badges on the front fenders, whether it is slanty or flat, or if its a sprit it has to be an ae71, or under the bonnet And no guys do not know everything about cars, and if you know a guy who thinks he does he is a tool and I already don't like him Travis Quote

Taz_Rx Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Don't be suprised if all those spots continue to rust and cracks out all of the bog. Or one decent bump and your car is going to look like a block of swiss cheese again. Did you ever put any rust converter/fish oil etc on it before bogging? Quote

Used kill rust and special primer. :jamie: Quote
