Evan G Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 ke55 need more camber. sigma LCA is waayyyyyy to much. what other LCA will bolt straight in and give me a health 2 degrees of camber? i think i read corona? thank you in advance Evan Quote
silverra23 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 Corona LCA is exactly the same length as the Corolla one so it will not give you extra camber. I have been told about a Cressida one that might be longer and may suit, but I don't know anything about it. Quote

silverra23 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 (edited) Ke55 arms are the same lenght as Xt130 arms. This makes them longer than KE70 based on your comments. Edited June 15, 2009 by silverra23 Quote
parrot Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 Cressida arms in a TA22 gave about 2.5 degrees. Quote

hilux05 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 just get some camber tops, then you can dial it in to whatever you want.. failing that: XT130-KE55 - 310mm MX62 - 365mm GE Sigma - 330mm S13 350mm its only 20mm difference between the sigma an xt.. man up i say  Quote

parrot Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Bear in mind, that you need to account not only for length of control arm, but also balljoint pin diameter (or substituting a different balljoint to suit both control arm and appropriate length steering arm) when considering different control arms. Apparently both length and thickness are important, or so my wife assures me. 8/ Messing with front end geometry is not as simple as you might think. Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Also remember when adding camber in the form of longer LCA's, not only will get "hektic" camberz, you will get 20mm more track per side. so if you had rims that sit flush with your guards. they will now poke out up to 20mm more. just get camber tops, you keep your track, and can tuck the top of the rim inside the guard if you have some decent offset rims 8/ Quote
