Taz_Rx Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Won't be turbo if he's paying that much for a motor. S4/5 import donks are still fetching around $1500. ;) Quote

daggs68 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Any more progress ? More pics ? looks great so far. I am interested in doing this as well. Not until I get another daily though. Whereabouts are you ? Any forseeable problems regarding rego ? Great to see your pics too. Keep it going. :P Cheers, Darryl Quote
chappo12 Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 I'm in canberra. the reason for no progress is because i want it done right so that means money. need a new gear box so thats 700 i don't have but in the next few weeks ill be swapping them over and the rad goes in aswell as over flow, oil catch can, hoses and a gilmer drive kit. oh and a weber. no dramas with the law its got good mounts and will have every thing done i.e brakes suspension. just hoping it will go well for a stocker with a web on it. other wise ill crack it open and port it. chappo12 Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 oh and i don't have a camera Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 please don't pay $700 for a gearbox you should be about to pick up a S2/3 box for $200ish that will be plenty strong enough for an NA motor If you need help/advise on parts PM me Quote
