Bowler Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 Yeh, they would...just need to get some wheels, then I'll get them made up. By the way, if anyone wants the CDR vector file for it, let me know. In other news, CLUTCH IS FIXED AND WORKING!!! Has been the bane of my existence, and all it required was 14c worth of alloy tubing... Next stop, Brakes - pun intended... Quote
Bowler Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 So have done a bit more work on the interior. The electric windows are again in, but no longer fouling and blowing fuses. :wootjump: I have also completed one door trim/speaker, and have started to patch the winder locations. Bowler Posted October 5, 2013 Author Report Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Cheers for the support. Nope, no troubles getting it to Geelong last night - although I must admit that it is going to take a little while to get use to the recirculating ball steering again. Outside of that, she just purred all the way home. Very, very satisfying van... edit: the steering is a little...well...loose around centre, so might need to look at pitman arm replacement. So, after 4 Years of ownership, I finally took Patch to get some new tires and an alignment. The result - fixing the 30mm of total toe out! So turns out this is the very cause of loose steering. The tire guy almost had a fit when i told him that i'd driven it to Geelong this way, HAHA Edited October 5, 2013 by Bowler Quote
carbonboy Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 Oh dear, although seeing the look on the tyre guys face would have been priceless! :lolcry: Quote
Bowler Posted October 6, 2013 Author Report Posted October 6, 2013 It was rather entertaining. Tell you what, for the 2km drive back home, felt great. Can't wait to drive it now! Quote
Bowler Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Posted October 30, 2013 Not quite four score...but still long enough... :D Quote
