just put the head back on my 4k after getting it face and all that. after putting everything back on tourqe down properly the car will turn over. there is spark and fuel but just wont run. what can be the problem?

Guessing no...

 

Your gonna need to take dizzy out put it to TDC and fit the dizzy correctly, someone will explain how, i can't be bothered

 

Get a workshop manual

"face and all that" ? so have you had a full head recon or just the surface faced ? why i ask is have you adjusted the valve clearances so they arent staying open when they are supposed to be closed ?

check valve clearances.

did you remove the distributors? I'm assuming you did, but along time since i played with a K motor, if you did, get a workshop manual and re-install it as per their directions, theres about 24 teeth on them, and only 1 way is right :rolla:

nope left the distrubutor on

As others have said check the valve clearances.

 

If you've had say 1mm skimmed off the head and the clearances are supposed to be say 0.2-0.3mm then the valves won't be closing.
