What is the white marker pen thing they use to mark bits at the wreckers? It looks like a paint pen or something, is that what it is? It seems to write on anything, even greasy yucky bits...

 

I want one of these, I need to start labelling my bits...

i think it's called a grease pen or grease pencil, fook

yep, they make a paint version too with a lil shaker in it. both work great.

 

 

i just bag n tag my parts or tape a tag on the big ones.

a grout pen

 

like you use when you tile a bathroom. they're usually in the paint section at bunnings. that's what i use and my stuff looks just like the wreckers :) it's essentially a white paint texta

Umm, I still haven't had any luck actually finding my sikaflex spray... When I do I'll let you know.

 

Grout pen sounds cool, I must acquire one of these!

the sikaflex spray you talk of is called:

 

Sikagard - 551......Underbody coating.

 

i have a can of it here.....i got it off ken when he did my spolier....however i didnt use it and when i'm going down that way again i'll take it with me and give it back.

there are heaps of sika products for all types of applications and other brands too sikaflex is very popular.
