tbo92 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 Hi Guys... so many things to think about, i was pondering a 4Age 20v conversion, but everyone has done it!.... so i thought, SR20.... but there have quiet a few who have done this as well... so i have moved my thoughts to 13b rotary! - perhaps a 13b Bridge Port Turbo... (drool :D ) this, i realise will be a police magnet ... :hmm: but this really isnt a concern to me lol... thinking about getting the plate PIGB8 .. (its taken unfortunatly.. but the idea is AWESOME!) does any one know of someone who has done this conversion? is it hard? and who wants in?! lol... thanks guys i await your imput!! :D  Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 Have driven in a KE55 with a pretty powerful 13B turbo. it flies, very quick. but also heavy on fuel ..... i mean why would you want to drive slow in one? lol Is this car going to be your daily? if so. A 20v would be a nice mix on power to fuel efficiency . Quote
Redwarf Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 Can't be done legally in Qld at this time. There's no point in building a car you can't drive. Quote

curly Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 In QLD they let you fit engine size up to NA X3 boosted X2.5 rotories they X2 so a 13b becomes 2600cc na your car weighs 910kg so na you can fit 2730cc or 2275cc boosted. 13b non turbo would be ok but check with an engineer before you start Quote
rollas22 Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 If you were going down the 13b path, check NZ websites, it has been done that many times! I had a KE30 with 12a Bridgy when i lived in NZ. www.rotahavik.co.nz (NZ version of ausrotary) www.trademe.co.nz (NZ version of ebay) those are a couple of websites that can lead you in the rite direction.
