Stixy Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) Ok well it has been a very very eventful afternoon, picked up the engine from southport which is roughly an hour and a half away....... It took ½ to 45 and 5 people to get it in the boot of a F*%$ING BA FALCON!!!!!! Getting out with only 2 people was even worse....... The answer pull it apart . don't let the twinky covers fool you, they were on there whenn i got it. got the GZE covers too yes Queen20v i did use to live in adelaide, thanks she certainly is a minter. :D Edited May 23, 2009 by Stixy Quote

Stixy Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Well after allot of hours, sore wire brushed fingers that have no print left on them and allot of swearing I have pulled apart and cleaned all those little screws, rocker cover, intake plenum, turbo manifold and everything is in sweet condition. Since I’m having today off I thought I might put my day to full use and put it all back together again, kind of like humpty dumpty.......... now all i need is an aftermarket ECU, loom, turbo, exhaust, headers and we are good to go!!! Thanks Dave, yeah its going to fun getting this baby in, mate you can have a DRIVE when its done. Tom, mate don't worrie il be bringing it back to adelaide just so you can have a drive again!!! S13 Steering Knuckles S13 SR20DE Brake Disks(have been freshly machined)(same size as ca18de) S13 full rubber brake lines S13 brake pads x3 good nick(missing one) Nissan Bluebird Tie rods (brand new still in packet) RA60 Celica Rack Ends (brand new still in packet) 6 random nissan wheel nuts i had lying around. dbr11k Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 mate you think thats bad , try fitting one in the boot of a ford focus ! we got it in there with an engine crane but me and a mate had to put a seat belt on top and slip a big bar through it, than lift it up with the bar on our shoulders......... i still have the hernia lol its coming along nice anyways, and one hell of a clean shell you putting it in. that's a nice list of suspension parts you have there too 8/ Quote

Thanks mate, yeah she's a nice clean straight car, going to keep it real stock looking on the inside and I'm going to just wak a JDM lip on the front and maybe some side skirts??? not sure, i like the color though. Recently purchased my Turbo and fueling system, 2l Surg tank VL Turbo fuel pump Rising Rate Fuel reg And an electric fuel pump And yes the turbo needs to be turned 180dgrs but you all get the jist.
