Ok,

Well after extensive research and doing my nut in over what engine to put in the old girl I have stumbled across a 4AGTE at the right price.

So here it is as it stands,

Picking up my 4AGTE today (Well in about ½ hour) along with a carton.

Tonight starts the cleansing period,

Here's the old girl as is,

Ok well it has been a very very eventful afternoon, picked up the engine from southport which is roughly an hour and a half away.......

It took ½ to 45 and 5 people to get it in the boot of a F*%$ING BA FALCON!!!!!!

Getting out with only 2 people was even worse.......

The answer pull it apart .

don't let the twinky covers fool you, they were on there whenn i got it.

got the GZE covers too

yes Queen20v i did use to live in adelaide, thanks she certainly is a minter. :D

Well after allot of hours, sore wire brushed fingers that have no print left on them and allot of swearing I have pulled apart and cleaned all those little screws, rocker cover, intake plenum, turbo manifold and everything is in sweet condition.

Since I’m having today off I thought I might put my day to full use and put it all back together again, kind of like humpty dumpty..........

now all i need is an aftermarket ECU, loom, turbo, exhaust, headers and we are good to go!!!

Thanks Dave, yeah its going to fun getting this baby in, mate you can have a DRIVE when its done.

Tom, mate don't worrie il be bringing it back to adelaide just so you can have a drive again!!! (don't tell greg though, i want to see him freak out when he takes it for a spin).

That's gotta hurt. I got laid off my apprenticeship a few months back and it wasn't easy to take either.

I've still got four rolla's sitting in my front yard, though

Good luck, it already is looking fantastic!
