Taz_Rx Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 I'll make it fit!!! ....wouldn't actually know yet to be honest. All happened so quick that the baby seat isn't even off lay-by yet!! I did however start "getting him accustomed to boost" a few times while still inutero. :hmm: Quote
Boost+k Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Congrads man... get used to being tired :P Quote
orangeLJ Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Karlies cousin had a baby on tuesday morning, went and visited her last night, I forgot how small and fragile newborns really are! your little man is tiny though, sounds like he is doing well for being pretty premature. Goodluck mate! and congratulations Quote
Taz_Rx Posted May 28, 2009 Author Report Posted May 28, 2009 Thanks again guys. Byron's now doing really well - Doing big poops which is good and now breathing on his own. They've also just doubled his feeding twice in the last 24 hours so thats great too. Pic from last night.... Quote
fusion Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Congrats Taz :P Soon he won't be able to go to sleep without the sound of boost :P Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Bloody hell, he's tiny...... Glad to hear he's doing well, you two must be stoked. All the best. Quote

Taz_Rx Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 Byron had his first skin-to-skin "Kanga care" cuddle yesterday. Spewing I wasn't there but hopefully doing it myself tonight. Kicked and screamed when they took him out of the incubator....... and then fell straight asleep as soon as he hit Katie's chest. :rolla: Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 glad its all doing well, he is bloody tiny On a side note the baby seat wont fit the way its supposed to with child looking out backwindow unless you drive without passenger or they are really short and like the seat all the way forward :rolla: Quote
madrolla68 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 Congrats mate!!! Haven't been on for a while, how things change so quickly.Good luck with it all. :bash: MAtt Quote
LukeAE71 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 (edited) Far out he is tiny... you get a real sense for that seeing him against a person Congrats mate and good to see he is coming along well :bash: Edited June 4, 2009 by LukeAE71 Quote
Taz_Rx Posted June 4, 2009 Author Report Posted June 4, 2009 thanks guys. oh and thanks for the insider knowledge Dan :bash: your missus is like 4' tall isn't she? so you'd be right? Been stuck in Launy all week, get to go and see him again tonight. :P I might update this thread every fortnight or so with new pics so you can all see him grow? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 Byron's putting weight on well now. He's up to 840gm now. Its pretty normal for a premmy baby to loose a bit of weight after birth, so its great he's now up and over his birth weight. I think this pic is a good example of size........ Quote
