bundy Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Hey, i know this isn't really worthy of a new thread but wasn't sure where else to ask. Does anyone know what the grill on this ke55 is from? Cheers Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Hey, i know this isn't really worthy of a new thread but wasn't sure where else to ask. Does anyone know what the grill on this ke55 is from? Cheers Looks like it's a normal round-light KE55 grille, unless there's something I'm missing. The fact that you don't normally see them in that condition might be putting you off. Quote

Ben-89 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Hi that grill above is off the series 1 Ke55, there is another form of early ke55 grille like that but it has the four silver vertical bars instead of two like on the pictured. It also has the red "C" badge instead of the blue. Its not every day that you see those blue badges on the grilles anymore. Hope this helps, Ben. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 You coule always ring the mobile number on the windscreen and ask the old/current owner if he knows what its off!! :y: Quote

JiP Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Then your out of luck. This grille will be plastic. Metal grilles hadn't been made since the early KE2x's. Quote
bundy Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 True? still looks a heap better than the ke3x black grills imo. Quote

Lexxi[ke35] Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah I thought that too. Just get some $2 chrome spray paint and paint a black one. Quote
