love ke70 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 the dash is the least of your worries and its only nuts and bolts. just jump in and do it. why do you want to remove it anyway? need to replace it or fully sick weight reduction? Quote

love ke70 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 ahhh, yeah that sucks. your not the only one thats done that. trying to get hose off or on? if off, in future cut the bastard and get a new one, they never wanna pull, even if theyve only been on for 10 minutes. if you don't want the heater you could just hook the two lines together, illegal and you'll get cold feet with the upcoming cold weather. to do it, i think the dash can stay in, its just a little fiddly :) Quote
BReNt Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 I always just lever them off with a screw driver and when I put them back on I use rubber grease. Quote

love ke70 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 wow thats gonna suck if you don't fix it :jamie: you got a replacement yet? give it a go on the weekend, if you get stuck take photos and ask questions, we are helpful like that :D Quote
Teddy Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 You need to basically strip most of the dash out, yes. Its easy for me to say its an easy job, when i have done it 2 million times. As for a word for word bolt to bolt document of how to do it.. that would take me hours to write. In short - you need to remove the dash top, the dash frame. ie - basically everything. Quote
