Falken_KE30 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 (edited) Just got my leaf springs reset for the KE55.. asked for a 2" drop and one leaf add in to make 5 a pack. Got them home today, put them in and its only dropped by 1" its still 4wd style :P And they did cost a pretty penny to get done :hmm: Now will they "set" into place over a few days? will i get my extra 1" i paid for? Or should i be ringing them up and complain? Cheers Edited May 8, 2009 by Falken_KE30 Quote
towe001 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I'd be giving them a call and asking what the go is. From what i know the leaves would set that extra 1" in a few years or so, not in a few days. Quote
twitchy Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Did you move the car before tightening it all up?? It should settle after a single run around the block. Also if they rest them, THEN put the extra leaf in it might hold it higher. They should know thier shit though. Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted May 8, 2009 Author Report Posted May 8, 2009 yeap, i took it for a drive, the double checked all the nuts. I got a Added leaf put in so you would think they would compensate the extra stiffness? Ryan, got slogged $240 for them to pull down, blast them clean add a Leaf, reset and paint Black. Quote
SLO-030 Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 they'll usually pull them down, reset them, then set another (extra) leaf to suit. you do know i probably could have got you brand newies + post for probably not much more than what they slugged ya :P Quote
